A trip to the "Capital of the Arctic" - Vorkuta will be exciting. This city can be called a monument to the Stalinist repressions and the Stalinist time: the entire city center was built in the style of the Stalinist Baroque. The local history museum deserves special attention, which contains unique collections dedicated to history, ethnography, and art. If you like unusual experiences, visit the former mining village of Khalmer-Yu, closed in 1995 and now one of the few abandoned cities in Russia.
