Information about the area
Luxury Dream Villa is located on a cliff overlooking Ponta do Sol and the Madalena do Mar coast. A small mini-market and cafe are 800 meters from the hotel. The village of Kanhas with a large supermarket, a couple of cafes, a pizzeria, a pharmacy and a bank is 2 km from the hotel; in another direction, next to the roundabout, which provides access to the expressway, there is another larger supermarket and cafe, as well as another selection of cafes in a small shopping center. The city of Ponta do Sol (4 km), one of the oldest in Madeira, is very picturesque, with small winding pedestrian streets leading to the sea and a rocky beach where you will find a couple of fashionable bars. The larger city of Ribeira Brava with a large selection of cafes, restaurants, shops, banks, a larger branded supermarket and another rocky beach with amenities is only 6.5 km or 8 minutes away. An easy ride on the expressway and motorway to Funchal will take only 30 minutes, and to the airport - 40 minutes.
