Vietnam - love at first sight. One gets the feeling that all the magic and uniqueness of Asia is embodied in this small, amazingly original country. Probably, this is how the homeland of miracles should be, where the spicy aroma of spices spreads through the streets and the chefs cook their exotic masterpieces for you, as for the most important guest, and nearby the puppeteer always tells a new and ancient story like the world; where nimble rickshaws, like industrious ants, merrily and dexterously deliver their wagons; where, in a tiny factory, a few people make the finest coconut toffees in the world; where swamps with hundreds of tender lotuses transport the foundations of Buddhism to mysterious times and the old ruins of great temples awe with their grandeur.
Holidays in Vietnam are striking in the variety of landscapes and colors: virgin tropical forests and the emerald of endless rice fields, mountain lines covered with haze of fog, thousands of kilometers of winding coastline with snow-white velvet beaches, bays and thousands of lost islands, unimaginably gentle sea color.
Tours to Vietnam are an opportunity not only to relax, but also to get acquainted with the amazing history of the country, admire the architectural and historical monuments, enjoy the beauty of old palaces, temples and ancient settlements
Rhythm, the constant movement of megacities and the measured charm of simple villages, the cozy silence of harbors and the colorful splendor of exotic gardens are surprisingly harmoniously combined here. Ebullient, with a thousand-year history of Hanoi ; wise in its antiquity, active and dynamic Ho Chi Minh City , where, according to ancient traditions, they drink the blood of a snake in order to take away its strength; fabulously romantic Ha Long , where the Dragon is still dozing, waiting, according to legend, when the time comes to wake up from sleep; Sapa with silver waterfalls and the identity of tribes that keep the secrets of ancient crafts; colorful Nha Trang , combining modern architecture and lost monkey islands.
In the center of Vietnam, at the intersection of land, rail, water and air transport lines, the city of Da Nang is located , which is a link between the main attractions of the country. It is convenient to plan trips from Da Nang to the ancient capital city of Hue , which is built on the banks of the Fragrant River, where numerous parks are located. In 1993, UNESCO declared this territory a cultural heritage of mankind.
Nha Trang is the perfect destination for active travelers and one of the best natural harbors in the world. It is located 45 minutes drive from Cam Ranh Airport. On the coast of Nha Trang there are many restaurants, cafes and bars offering a variety of fish and seafood dishes.
Sapa is one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam, an ideal place for romantic natures, combining the alpine landscape, the ethnic cultures of the country and the purest mountain air.
Ho Chi Minh City , known as Saigon until 1976, is located in southern Vietnam. The largest city in the country, which is the industrial, commercial, transport and communication, as well as the tourist center of Vietnam. Phan Thiet is located 200 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City - a beautiful seaside resort town. Sunny nature and unique climate make Phan Thiet an ideal place for a relaxing family holiday. The resort is famous for its huge pink sand dunes and beautiful long beaches.
The picturesque Halong Bay is located in the northeast of Vietnam in the North Bay. With over 3,000 islands jutting out of clear emerald water, it is one of the natural wonders of the world. Small islands are framed by countless beaches and grottoes created by wind and waves.
Phu Quoc can be safely called the island of your dreams: luxurious rainforests and rocky mountains, beautiful sandy beaches and the richest underwater world. This is one of the most popular diving spots.
But what is most surprising in Vietnam is that smiles are disinterestedly given here at every step and the air is saturated with admiration and joy from life itself.
Combined tours to Vietnam are an unusual and exciting excursion program, beautiful sandy beaches with ample opportunities for outdoor activities, an extensive and high-quality hotel base. And with all this - low prices in hotels, restaurants, excursions and generally everywhere.
Official name : Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Capital : Hanoi.
Climate : More than a third of the territory of Vietnam is located at a level above 500 m above the sea, so the climate there is subtropical, and in areas above 2000 m it is temperate. From April-May to October, the southeast monsoons bring warm and humid weather to the country - except for areas protected by mountains. The best time to visit Vietnam, when rains are least likely: the period from April-May to October-November.
Customs: import of foreign convertible currency is not limited, but amounts over 3000 USD must be declared. The export of currency from the country is allowed only within the amount declared upon entry. The export of the national currency is prohibited. You can import duty-free into the country 400 cigarettes, 100 cigars or 500 grams of tobacco, 1.5 liters of strong alcoholic beverages or 2 liters of alcoholic beverages with a strength of up to 22 °, two 100-gram cans of black or red caviar, 5 kg of tea, 3 kg of coffee, as well as other goods with a total value not exceeding VND 5,000,000. The import of household and computer equipment is subject to mandatory declaration: all undeclared equipment will be allowed to be exported only if customs duties are paid or if there is a receipt confirming its purchase in the country. It is strictly forbidden to import drugs and narcotic medicines without a medical prescription for their use (punishment - up to the death penalty), explosives, firearms, materials that offend local culture (printed materials, CDs, audio and video recordings), as well as pornography. It is forbidden to export art and antiques, jewelry and handicrafts without proper documentation.
Transport : urban transport is well developed only in large cities. It includes taxis, motorcycle and cycle rickshaws (“cyclo” or “cyclo”). Taxi fares do not need to be negotiated in advance: all cars have a meter that indicates the fare, and taxi drivers usually know a little English.
Shops, shopping: a huge selection of shopping and the lowest prices in the region are the main features of shopping in Vietnam. Shops are open almost every day, seven days a week, from 7:30 to 17:30 - officially, and unofficially - until late in the evening. From Vietnam, we recommend bringing things made of lacquer, bamboo, mother-of-pearl, silverware, mahogany and ebony - including very beautiful cutlery and jewelry boxes. Another category of successful purchases is clothes and accessories made of silk, linen and cotton. Even in Saigon, you can find very high-quality and beautiful gold items - not that at completely junk, but quite nice prices. Prices for exotic souvenirs are very low, and beautiful silver items cost almost nothing. Our advice when buying - be sure to bargain! This is considered an indispensable condition for communication between the seller and the buyer,
Cuisine, restaurants : Vietnamese cuisine is light and, despite its unusualness, is very healthy. Products here are not subjected to long-term heat treatment. The basis of the cuisine is rice, noodles and spices, a variety of seafood. Green tea is traditionally popular in the country, and local coffee is considered to be quite good in quality. In state-owned hotels and restaurants, a 5% “for services” is usually added to the bill. In private establishments, if you liked the food and service, you can leave a tip of 5-10%.
Security : Vietnam is one of the safest places in Asia and Hanoi is one of the safest cities in the world. The only ones to be feared in the country are petty thieves and pickpockets. Tap water is not to be drunk, just as it is not worth buying food on the street. For the first three days in the country, it makes sense to refrain from abundant consumption of fruits and vegetables. We recommend taking light-colored clothes made of light natural fabrics with you. Warm clothes will come in handy in the northern provinces of the country in December-February.
Diving in Vietnam: one of the cheapest in the world. At the same time, it is really interesting and organized at a quite decent level. You can dive in three regions of the country - Central Vietnam (Danang, Hoi An), Nha Trang and Phu Quoc Island. The best season for diving in Nha Trang is February-October, and on Phu Quoc Island from November to May. Near Nha Trang there are famous diving sites: Moray Beach, Rainbow Coral Reef and many islands near the resort.
